Shari Rothenberg joined Integrated Solutions group in 2014. She manages client relationships and is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of books and records, net asset valuations and financial statements of clients involved in the securities and asset management industries, including hedge funds, private equity funds and broker-dealers.
Prior to joining the company, Shari worked at Rothstein Kass & Company for 19 years. She was the Director of Learning and Development at the end of her tenure. Before becoming a director, she was a Senior Manager and worked closely with clients to find solutions to accounting, auditing and tax related matters. Shari’s specialization was in the financial services industry and more specifically, hedge funds, offshore funds, fund of funds, master feeders and broker dealers. Capitalizing on her earlier knowledge base, Shari devised and implemented training and professional development programs. She directed training initiatives for the firm and developed and implemented strategies, systems, operational policies, processes and procedures for the department.
Shari received a B.S. in accounting from SUNY Albany and an M.S. in taxation from Seton Hall University. Shari obtained her New Jersey CPA license in July 1995. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Woman’s Society of CPAs (AWSCPA). In the past she served as a member of the national board of directors for the AWSCPA, was a founder of the New Jersey Affiliate of the AWSCPA, a governance committee member for 100 Women in Hedge Funds and served as a member of the board of trustees for the Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting.
